THE Government has decided that Credit Tip Off Service Sdn Bhd (CTOS) is not allowed to charge individuals who wish to check, rectify and update their information on the CTOS database, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung.
The Malaysian Association of Banks has also decided that banking institutions should get consent from the borrower before obtaining personal information from any private credit reference such as CTOS.
