PUTRAJAYA: Sisters in Islam (SIS) should be more ulama-friendly, said the Department of Islamic Development yesterday.
Its director-general Datuk Wan Mohamad Sheikh Abdul Aziz said that if SIS were to engage with ulamas and state religious authorities, there would be no opposition against activities relating to the welfare and rights of the Muslim community.
