KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney-General’s Chambers has finalised the Personal Data Protection Bill and is targeting for it to be tabled for first reading in October, Deputy Information, Communication and Culture Minister Senator Heng Seai Kie said.
It would not only be limited to “cyberspace laws” but also include sectors such as tourism, finance, insurance, telecommunications and other sectors that involve commercial transactions, she said.
