IPOH: Seventeen students were injured, two of them seriously, when a bus skidded and landed in a drain due to a burst tyre at Km316 of the North-South Expressway near Tapah.
Tapah police chief Supt Roslan Bek Ahmad said the 12.40pm incident happened when the bus carrying 39 passengers — seven teachers and 31 students — was returning to Klang after a cricket competition in Penang.
