PUTRAJAYA: The Veterinary Services Department will carry out an influenza A (H1N1) vaccine test on about 10,000 pigs in Perak starting next week, its director-general Datuk Dr Abd Aziz Jamaluddin said.
It would take six weeks for results to show whether the vaccine was effective in preventing pigs from contracting the virus, he said.
