Man denies snatching bag belonging to coach’s wife

KUALA LUMPUR: A kuih seller pleaded not guilty in a Sessions Court here yesterday to attempting to snatch the handbag belonging to the wife of national badminton men’s doubles coach Rexy Mainaky.

Azhar Alias, 33, is alleged to have robbed housewife Oei Po Kei, 41, with another person still at large at a lane near the Suzie’s Corner stall in Jalan Ampang, Cheras, at 9.30pm on May 22.
