Dumpling Festival to see dearer 'bak chang'

GEORGE TOWN: Consumers can expect dearer chang this year as most of its ingredients have gone up in price.

The price for pork belly, a key ingredient for bak chang (pork dumpling), went up from RM12 to RM15 per kilo while the lotus leaves saw an increase of almost 50% in cost.
