IPOH: Wanting to cash in on the Upin and Ipin craze, a businessman brought in merchandise depicting the local animation characters from Thailand for distribution at night markets.
His money-churning plan, however, went bust when the state Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Department enforcement unit seized T-shirts, wallets, key chains and children’s bolsters bearing images of Upin and Ipin.
