KUALA LUMPUR: Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has been discharged from the Stanford University Medical Centre (SUMC) in California after undergoing open-heart surgery on May 2.
“His Royal Highness has made an uneventful recovery and is ambulating well,” said Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya consultant cardiologist Datuk Dr Anuar Masduki, who is also the Sultan’s personal physician, in a statement yesterday. Sultan Sharafuddin was discharged yesterday.
