KUALA LUMPUR: There are too many Cabinet committees and the Government wants to reduce their numbers to ensure administrative matters are run smoothly and effectively.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said there were about 30 to 40 Cabinet committees, and during a recent discussion with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, they agreed this should be reduced.
