GEORGE TOWN: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has asked the state to release some documents to facilitate its investigations into alleged illegal quarry activities involving former Penang Deputy Chief Minister (I) Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin.
The state would “cooperate fully” with the MACC in line with the competency, accountability and transparency (CAT) philosophy, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng told reporters at his office Monday.
