SHAH ALAM: A senior officer with the Selangor government’s investment arm Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB) claimed trial to corruption at the Sessions Court here. Muhammad Shah Abdul Aziz, 51, was charged with asking one Ong Kim Weng to appoint one of his relatives as director of a company specialising in renovations in order to win a contract.
He is alleged to have asked Ong, from Interfern Industries Sdn Bhd, to make Ruslan Md Kasim a director of the company in exchange for a contract to renovate the Perangsang Templer Golf Club.
