KOTA KINABALU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency intends to establish a stronger presence in Sabah this year by beefing up its manpower and equipment strength.
MMEA director general Laksamana Datuk Mohd Amdan Kurish said the number of personnel in the state would be increased from the present 568 to its full strength level of 900 in 2009.
