Priceless statues stolen from temple

GEORGE TOWN: Two priceless antique statues – one of the Eight Immortals and a warrior deity – were stolen from a temple in Perak Road here.

Temple chairman Ang Hoe Thye said one of the committee members went to the temple at 8pm on Saturday and found the statues missing from the altar.
