GEORGE TOWN: Fingers are being pointed again as to who is responsible for putting George Town’s world heritage site status under threat.
State Gerakan chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan said yesterday the status could be revoked as a 23-storey hotel project in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah was approved without the knowledge of World Heritage Committee (WHC).
