EVERYONE should adopt a pragmatic and rational attitude towards the putting up of multilingual road signs at tourist attractions and heritage areas in Penang, said MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Dr Wee was quoted by Sin Chew Daily as saying that such a move should not be deemed as “marginalising” Bahasa Malaysia, adding that the putting up of such road signs was within the prerogative of the state and local council.
