Dr Teng: MPSP’s ‘missing’ RM225mil spent properly

GEORGE TOWN: The Seberang Prai Municipal Council’s (MPSP) reserve of RM225mil did not just disappear but was spent on projects for the benefit of the people, said former State Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan.

“The money was spent on building the Pulau Burung sanitary landfill, two markets, two sports complexes and a multi-purpose hall. We also used the money to acquire land for infrastructure development of roads and drains.
