Teagarajan to join MIC race

KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman Datuk V.K.K. Teagarajan has announced his intention to contest the MIC deputy presidency at the party elections next year.

Teagarajan, a former MIC central working committee member and former Malaysian Associated Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, said the party had to be rejuvenated and strengthened after losing the support of the Malaysian Indian community in the last general election.
