NILAI: The Royal Customs and Excise Department made its first syabu bust at the KL International Airport this year when it found 900gm of the drug, worth an estimated RM240,000, concealed in a passenger’s baggage on Nov 13.

The syabu, wrapped in aluminium foil and carbon paper to avoid being detected by the scanning machine, was hidden in three packages inside a secret compartment of the 38-year-old passenger’s luggage.
