PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Indians are an integral part of society and the Government recognises the past and present contributions of the community to nation-building, said the Prime Minister.
In his Deepavali message, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Malaysian Indians, the majority of whom are Hindus and celebrate Deepavali tomorrow, had always tirelessly worked with and constructively engaged the Government to improve the well-being of the community.
