Najib, Muhyiddin pick up one more nomination each

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has picked up another nomination in his bid for the Umno presidency.

Delegates at the Tuaran Umno meeting on Tuesday unanimously nominated the party deputy president for the top post.

Led by division chief Datuk Hajiji Noor, the Tuaran Umno delegates also named Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for the deputy president’s post.

For the three vice-president’s slots, the Tuaran Umno delegates named Datuk Mohd Shafie Apdal, Datuk Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein.
