No abuse of power by state, says Perak MB

IPOH: The state government has refuted claims that it abused its powers by appointing Pakatan Rakyat candidates who lost in the general election as district land committee members in Barisan Nasional-held state constituencies.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said the government had its reasons for the move and that it was a decision made by the state executive council.
