IPOH: A lawyer, charged earlier this week with soliciting RM40,000 from his client, claimed trial here to a second charge of receiving money to bribe the police.
Ranjit Singh, 54, pleaded not guilty to committing the offence under the Anti-Corruption Act in Slim River on June 28, 2005.
