KUCHING: The federal government may consider the use of video-conferencing and other ICT facilities in courts nationwide following the successful implementation of a pilot project in Sarawak.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Bernard Dompok said the video-conferencing system used by the Sarawak courts not only helped to speed up the disposal of cases but also saved time and cost for judges and lawyers.
