SANDAKAN: Quick action by the enforcement authorities resulted in the confiscation of subsidised diesel amounting to thousands of litres here and illicit cigarettes worth more than RM20,000 in the northern Kudat district.
A move by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) patrol vessel KD Labas to intercept a fishing trawler at Sungai Seguntor near here at about 12.30am on Monday saw enforcement personnel seizing some 3,500 litres of the subsidised fuel worth about RM10,000.
