JOHOR BARU: The accountant who admitted to sending an SMS regarding the resignation of Deputy Education Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong was declared a bankrupt in 2002 - twice.

“Some members of the public informed us about it and after checking with the Malaysia Insolvency Department we found that he (Chong Chai Huat) had been declared a bankrupt twice (10 days apart) in October 2002,” Johor Baru MCA Youth secretary Ching Chee Siong told a press conference here yesterday.
