SHAH ALAM: The man killed in a shootout in Subang Jaya on Tuesday had been involved in at least nine goldsmith shop robberies in the Klang Valley since early this year, escaping with jewellery worth RM3.2mil, Selangor police said.

Police who raided his house in SS14 later the same day found two sub-machine guns, a .38 Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol, a .22 and a 9mm pistol, hundreds of rounds of bullets, hammers, parang, a Yamaha motorcycle, two helmets and a car, which were all seized.
