SIBU: The Election Court here on Monday dismissed with costs, a petition for the Sarikei parliamentary seat brought by DAP candidate Dr Wong Hua Seh against the winner, Ding Kuong Hiing of the Barisan Nasional.
In the March 8, 2008 general election, Ding, 53, from the Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) won with a simple majority of 51 votes when he secured 10,588 to Dr Wong's 10,537.
