Patrol car thief shot dead

SELANGOR: Two men stole a police patrol car in Taman Seri Kembangan on Wednesday night. Three hours later, one of them was shot dead.

Policemen had spotted the men behaving suspiciously at about 7.20pm. They policemen decided to bring them to the police station for further questioning.

The men managed to overpower the policemen and drive off in the patrol car.

A police car tracked down the thieves at 11pm and gave chase.

The car crashed and caught fire and one of the thieves tried to attack policemen with a knife and was shot dead.
