PENANG: The Federal Government has allocated RM180,000 to put up informative signs about popular tourists attractions, including heritage sites, in English, Tamil and Chinese here by year end, said Tourism Action Council chairman Datuk Kee Phaik Cheen.
She said Penang started working on preserving and promoting the inner city as a cultural heritage site about 12 years ago.
