KOTA KINABALU: A lawyer told the High Court here about his surprise over an announcement that Barisan Nasional’s Tan Sri Joseph Kurup had won the Pensiangan parliament seat uncontested on nomination day in the March 8 polls.
Arthur Bonnie@Borine said he was aware of only one objection against the nomination papers of another candidate, Danny Andipai, contesting the Pensiangan seat and that the complaint had been rejected by Returning Officer Bubudan OT Majalu.
