SHAH ALAM: Umno will replace the term “money politics” with “corrupt politics” to lend more weight to reminders to keep the upcoming Umno elections clean.

Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the change in the term was deemed by the party supreme council to be a more effective way to remind those involved in the party elections to stay out of corrupt practices. Branch elections will kick off from July 17.
