Isa’s suspension over money politics ends

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Umno vice-president Tan Sri Mohamed Isa Samad, whose suspension from the party for money politics ended yesterday, has to wait for a decision from the supreme council on whether he can return to active politics.

Information chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib said a member could not automatically reassume his post and contest in the party polls once the suspension period ended.
