KUALA LUMPUR: After years of difficult negotiations, a stalemate and picketing at the banks, the National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE) and Malayan Commercial Banks Associations (MCBA) have finally agreed on a 17% salary adjustment.
The agreement, which covers 30,000 clerical and non-clerical staff, and special grade clerks working at banks in the country, is for 2006 to 2008.
