KUALA LUMPUR: Freelance artist Nazim Mohammed Esa won the BMW Shorties 2008 with his nine-minute 52-second film titled For the Love of Drowning.
His surrealistic tale about a relationship that shifts between the past and the present, and of dream and reality, beat 62 entries from all over Malaysia and he emerged RM75,000 richer during the gala ceremony at Seni Art Gallery at Mont Kiara here last night.
