KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Environmental Protection Association (Sepa) is questioning the contention by Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) that coal is the only viable power generation source in the states east coast.
Its president Wong Tact said coal, like natural gas, was not readily available in the east coast, which is facing a 30MW power supply shortfall.
