JOHOR BARU: The increasing number of applicants in the Chinese section of the Teacher Training Institutes will help solve the acute shortage of teachers in Chinese schools nationwide.
Deputy Education Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong said 1,243 applications had been received so far for the Chinese section of the Postgraduate Teaching Training course.
