KUCHING: Sarawak has established a network of protected areas which surpassed the World Conservation Union's requirement of 10% of its total land area, said Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.
He said the state had 28 national parks, six nature reserves and four wildlife sanctuaries.
