KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) approved the revised listing of Perlis Plantations Oil Palms Bhd on the main board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) because 30% of its equity would still remain with a bumiputra company after the exercise, the High Court heard yesterday.
Former SC chairman Datuk Dr Munir Abdul Majid said the commission had received an application from Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Bhd (MIMB) which acted for Perlis Plantations Bhd in the listing exercise on Feb 29, 1996.
