THE Federation of Livestock Farmers Association of Malaysia has been reported to suggest to the Domestic Trade and Consumer Ministry the setting up of a special committee to study the feasibility of removing the ceiling price mechanism on chicken.
Nanyang Siang Pau quoted the federation's vice-president Yap Kim Hwah as saying that poultry farmers would have no choice but to reduce the production of chicken if the Government refused to review the mechanism.
