JOHOR BARU: A drug trafficking case involving nine foreigners and a Malaysian at the Magistrate Court here took an interesting turn -- the case of five suspects was transferred to the High Court while the others remained in a limbo due to the lack of an interpreter.

Singaporeans Ho Bee Seng, 53, and Tan Chwee Liang, 28; Mexicans Jesus Alfonso, 36, and Jorge Enrique, 32; and Canadian James Dugalo, 41, who were charged with preparing to traffic drugs at about 3.10pm on March 4 in Taman Pelangi, had their case transferred to the High Court.
