MIRI: Gangsters specialising in armed robbery are “blending” in with Sarawak’s poor and living in densely-populated housing estates to make it difficult for police to locate them.
This switch in strategy follows Bukit Aman’s massive crackdown on gangsterism in May 2007 when top leaders were arrested and gangs broken up.
