Fraudsters were the happiest lot when the court handed down a landmark judgment in 2001 allowing a landowner to lose her million-ringgit land to unscrupulous parties who through forgery sold her land to a bona fide buyer. Landowners can only hope for an amendment to the National Land Code to rectify the situation.
