Ipoh high court sets aside false report conviction

IPOH: The High Court here has allowed the appeal of former Sitiawan director of the Asean Security Paper Mill B. Nithiabala who had been found guilty of lodging a false police report. 

Justice Muhamad Ideres Muhamad set aside the conviction against Nithiabala, 51, the seven-day jail sentence and the RM2,000 fine which was imposed by a magistrate's court here.
