Suffian named new CEO of RapidKL

PETALING JAYA: Klang Valley public transport operator RapidKL has appointed Suffian Baharuddin (pic) as its chief executive officer. 

The former Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) corporation planning general manager takes over from Dutchman Rein Westra, whose contract with the company ended in December last year. 

RapidKL or Rangkaian Pengang- kutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd is fully owned by the Finance Ministry and was set up as part of efforts to revamp Klang Valley’s public transport system. 

His appointed was effective last Monday. 

RapidKL also announced the appointment on the same day of former journalist Ebi Azly Abdullah as general manager of the company’s new communications division.
