KOTA KINABALU: A Kitingan versus Kitingan battle is shaping up in interior Sabah, if two brothers keep to their word and contest the indigenous Keningau parliamentary seat.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan declared yesterday that he would stand in the Barisan Nasional-held Keningau seat of 35,255 voters comprising 64% non-Muslim bumiputras, 23% Muslim bumputras and 11% Chinese.
