BIDOR: When government officers went to Lim Poh Kuang’s farm in Kuala Bikam to survey his land two-and-a-half years ago, he felt insecure at the thought of losing his livelihood and farmland.
The 50-year-old Lim, who has mango and jambu air (rose apples) orchards, said he did not harbour too much hope that the state would recognise them as farmers and allow them to continue farming on the land that belonged to the state.
