KUANTAN: A total of 2,201 voters from Pekan, Maran and Rompin, who were included in the electoral roll for the fourth quarter of 2007, might not be able to vote in the upcoming polls because they purportedly do not live there.
State Election Commission (EC) director Ismail Mohd Yusoff said an inquiry would have to be conducted and, as state EC head, he would be presiding over the hearing on the objections.
