Man robbed of RM500,000 in gold

KUALA LUMPUR: A jewellery supplier was robbed of gold jewellery worth about RM500,000 by two parang-wielding men at the Tesco hypermarket parking lot in Ampang here. 

The supplier, accompanied by a friend, had just parked his car and was about to go into the hypermarket to hand over the gold to an outlet in the building when two men on a motorbike approached them in the 11am incident on Tuesday.
