KUALA LUMPUR: Defence-related cooperation between Malaysia and India is set to grow with the increase in joint training for military personnel between both countries.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said both countries had signed a protocol on training Malaysian pilots for the Sukhoi SU-30MKM fighter aircraft during his visit to India in June 2006. The Indian Air Force also operates a Sukhoi fleet.
